The wind and rain detector is designed to automatically close roof or façade windows at the first sign of rain, snow, or wind. They are intended for integration with ventilation control panels which deliver the essential 24 V ac/dc/110 mA power supply.
When rain or snow is detected, or if wind speeds exceed the configured switching threshold, the electronic evaluation system within the wind and rain detector generates a CLOSE command. The opening units will not reopen until the rain or snow has stopped, the rain sensor surface is completely dry, and the wind speed has decreased below the set threshold level.
