Putting Learning into Action

As part of our ongoing commitment to developing our employees we have successfully delivered a 10-month Management Development Programme to those who have recently been promoted or are progressing into future management roles.  

This training delivered by Sharon Tommy, Learning and Development Business Partner for SE Controls has been accredited as a Development programme by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) who are the leading provider of leadership and management qualifications in the UK.  The accreditation recognises that the training met the ILM’s high standards and as a result those who successfully complete the programme receive a certificate issued by the ILM to recognise their learning
 
Sharon commented, “This course has given our new managers the tools for successful leadership and we’ve seen excellent results already with our employees making a real difference by putting their learning into action. We look forward to continuing the ILM course with our future managers and developing career progression for our employees.”

The programme covers a range of subjects through interactive workshops to help develop leadership skills effectively. The modules covered were;

Feedback from the course was extremely positive and due to its success, the second programme is already underway with the next group of employees looking to take their career to the next level.
